Most virus scanners have a block option also. Even some firewalls allow you to block specific sites.

Use your security setting or your firewall setting to block certain internet site. You do have firewall, don't you?. unless you want your data read by other, you should have firewall

for IE 6.x:
click menu "Tools">Internet Options>tab"privacy">click "Sites.." button under privacy tab
in the dialog box type the address of sites you want to block and click "block"> then "ok">"Apply"> "ok" to complete.
