Oh T Bird, Marie is a beautiful name. The Hebrew meaning is "wished for a child and Rebellious" It's a derivative of Mary. Mine is Stanley, Old English meaning "stone clearing". Marie was my Mom's middle name. She was Elizabeth Marie. Everyone called her "Lizzy"
