Whoever notices it is getting low gets another roll out of the cabinet. Whoever uses up the last of the roll on the roller puts the the new one on.
My wife used to do it all the time, but after some on-the-job training I discovered that I could do it just as well. Doing so has also gotten rid of some of those really strange conversations where I had no idea at all what we were really talking about, but was pretty sure it wasn't anything good!

Apparently this is one thing that nobody in my house knows how to do. What's funny is how they will remove the empty roll and set it on the counter to let me know we are out. The new rolls are right there in the cabinet under the sink which is within reach from the toilet. It's like their brains went down the toilet along with the poo!

Me always me even at friends, family , restuarants, public toilets some inconsiderate person leaves one sheet if any on the roll and I am starting to think I should travely arounds just to change toilet rolls. Pauline

Usually my mum but sometimes i change it,
it really depends on who uses the last bit of toilet paper.

We refer to her simply as 'the toilet paper fairy'.
My daughter came up to me the other day, quite sad, and informed me that she guessed the toilet paper fairy must have died or else she was falling down on the job.

My husband or myself. If the kids do, which is rarely, they leave it on top of the empty roll.
