They whisper "high maintenace."
Expensive. Need to be filled every 2 weeks. Damaging to the nail bed.

Acrylics have the appearance of artificiality and are restrictive of many daily functions: writing, typing, eating, or any activity requiring gripping. They additionally make playing the piano (or any other musical instrument) a real ordeal. But it's a matter of opinion.

I love going and gettin my nails done. I have problems growing my natural nails out. I think they are very girlie and fun. I love going with friends and hang out while we are gettin are nails done. You dont have to get them really long either. I say try any thing once. Have fun with it.

Every once in awhile, I want them. And I don't even make it to the first fill-in before pulling them off. I kinda want them again now, but I have my own nails nice and long.

I personally dont like them because they feel funny and you are unable to do many things with the long fake fingernails in the way. Also, I would rather just grow out my nails a little and then get a manicure. I just dont like fake nails because, i dunno, its kinda weird having a slate of painted plastic glued on your nail .Hm....

They are nice at first.
but the second they start to fall, chip or brake get rid of them.
but i wouldn't recommend them cos they turn your real nails yellow.

Some folks can wear those and do just fine. I've personally seen the fungus which grows underneath them, and can cause some serious infection...... be careful, and go to the professionals, don't attempt to do those on your own........

I think they hurt! They hurt when they were applied, they hurt when they were touched up every two weeks and they hurt when I was using my hands for anything. Plus they were annoying when doing normal chores such as dishwashing, bedmaking, typing, etc,
