Yes u can. Right click on My Computer, click on Properties. Click on Hardware=>Device Manager. Search for ur Graphic card under Display adaptors & right click on it. Click on Properties. In Drivers tab, click on Update drivers. At this point, i assume that u r connected to internet.
Another way is to log on to ur laptop manufacturer's website, search for drivers and downloads for ur laptop model no. and search for graphic card. If a driver update is available, install it. U can also choose to save it on ur desktop and install it using the above method. To install manually, follow the above steps until u click Update Drivers. Now choose the location of the file manually and click on Update. U will understand it only once u start doing it.
Updating drivers enhances the performance of hardwares. Check the driver version and released date before u install it. U may already have that driver on ur system.

Im assuming here that you want to upgrade the graphics card, and that is not a very easy task.
Laptops, as everyone knows, are much smaller than a normal desktop computer. And as such, they are designed to be very compact from a hardware perspective. Manufacturers moved to make the video card, sound card, network card, sometimes the RAM, and even the wireless card integrated onto the Motherboard.
Integrated means that it cannot be removed, and in your case, upgraded.
There is a tiny chance, that your Laptop has a PCI express slot, where the video card is, usually thats where the WLAN card is at.

First of all, often there is no dedicated graphics card on a laptop, only an integrated graphics chip on the motherboard. Therefore it's usually impossible to upgrade the graphics.
Laptops are not meant for gaming in most cases. The poor battery life vs. the high heat output severely limits laptop gaming opportunites.
However, if you have a Geforce Go 7600 or another card "dedicated" to graphics, you may be able to upgrade, though it is difficult and a hassle. Few people choose to build laptops for a reason; they are difficult to customize. Usually a simple RAM, hard drive, or CPU upgrade is all that most users perform.

Very few high end laptops have the option to upgrade video cards. The most you can do with integrated graphics is to install bigger RAM (1Gb or higher) so that the graphics processor can use maximum shared RAM.
Also, if you want to speed up gaming a bit, use 16bit color setting instead of 32bit. Do not use hi-resolution and hi-quality settings.
