1. No, I'm self-loving (could explain my failing eyesight)
2. None of my family (that I know of, so far, but that would be SO great!). A good deal of my friends -- and me, of course.
3. With other Queers? Of course, but I have bunches of straight friends too. I believe it's not a choice, after all, it's just who they are and why should I condemn them for who they love?
4. Oh, I probably do on some subconscious level. I'm sure there's some subcultural group in the Queer community that I have biases for or against and it impacts how I treat members of these groups. We all discriminate at times.
5. Of course we should. Civil marriage should be everyone's right. The confusion between civil marriage and religious marriage is key to the argument and it has been intentionally muddied by those who are trying to prevent same sex couples from marrying.
6. The prevailing theories seem to agree that there is a combination of both genetic predisposition and environmental issues that work together to make amazingly FABULOUS people.
7. For marriage. Why penalize anyone for loving someone and wanting to commit to them?
8. Of course. Research has shown that loving same sex parents can provide a wonderful environment for children to be raised in.

Good luck with Soc 104

20,female ,black, Methodist.
1.No
2.I have a couple acquaintances
3. associate with what?
4. No
5. I have conflicting views about this. I personally don't understand what a harm a monogamous gay couple would do our society. Unmarried straight people having sex and children out of wedlock and commiting adultery have caused way more damage to our society then gays, so how dare people who do these things point fingers? And I am definitely against unmarried heterosexuals living together and I am afraid gay marriage would lead to those people getting equal rights too. They have a choice to get married and they need to earn those benefits.
6. some definitely are corrupted and become gay, and then there are some who are quite possibly born that way. Homosexuality is a very gray area.
7.No, because See answer 5.
8. Here's a reasonable and balanced compromise: Give it a chance. If it ends up having negative impact on the children, then make it illegal again. But just give it a chance. That way it'll be fair to both sides.

1. No
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. No
5. Yes, the state has no right to discriminate based on gender, personal religious or moral beliefs or activity. Even if I believe that homosexuality is a sin and God abhors it, I cannot try to enforce that on other people through the government. In fact, the Bible explicitly says that we should not hold non-Christians to our standards.
6. A strong predisposition to homosexual attractions can be inborn, but as with anyone in life, it is a choice to act on it.
7. Vote for
8. Yes, for the same reason as #5

And a bonus answer - since you're in big people school now, you should make a half-assed effort to use correct spelling and grammar.

1. No
2. My brother, several acquaintances over the years
3. Yes
4. No
5. Absolutely. Denying gays the right to marry is unconstitutional.
6. I believe that homosexuality is genetic.
7. I voted for gay marriage in the 2004 elections and I'll do it again.
8. Of course. The sexual orientation of potential adoptive parents shouldn't even be a factor. What's important is finding a loving home for all of the homeless kids out there.

24 Black male Deist
1. Yes, in much the same way I have a phobia against all types of degenerates. It is a perversion
2. A gay cousin, I don't associate or keep company with homosexuals
3. No. Neither do I associate with know criminals or sexual deviants
4. I think poorly of them, but I have no way to show my disdain, and wouldn't even if I could. That is a personal behavior, that I simply disagree with. But since it does not impose itself on others it should be tolerated. I am tolerant, though not at all accepting.
5.No, they should not be allowed to marry. The state should not recognize or sanction this perversion any more than it would bestiality.
6. I do not care. If the they were born gay they were born defective. If they become gay they have made very bad choices. The point is their behavior is wrong not how they arrived at it. This very question admits. "but I was born that way" no one offers up such a 'Disclaimer' unless they recognize something to be wrong and are attempting to avoid personal responsibility.
7. It should be an non-issue, but if is made one I would vote against it.
8. Absolutely not. refer to previous answers.

I let it be known.

1. No
2. Yes
3. On occasion
4. No

6. I believe they are born gay. It is the same as heterosexuals, they don't choose to like the opposite sex. They just do. Hormones at work.
7. I would vote for gay marriage.
8. They should be allowed to adopt. What makes them unable to care for a child? Nothing.
