its hormonal i'm going through the same thing. I hurt everywhere... To this day they still haven't figured it out.

While some women have no discomfort during their menstrual cycle, others have mild to severe symptoms.

With ovulation, which occurs at the middle of the menstrual cycle, some women have less than a day of red spotting or lower pelvic pain (mittelschmerz); both are normal.

During the week or two before a menstrual period, it is common to have some premenstrual symptoms. You may feel more tense, angry, or emotional; gain water weight and feel bloated; or have tender breasts or acne. You may also have less energy than usual, and you may be less able to exert yourself during exercise. A day or two before your period, you may start having pain (cramps) in your abdomen, back, or legs. During the first days of a menstrual period, these symptoms go away.

this is perfectly normal.
this is something that happens to most women, and maybe it's just never happened to you before.
when you're on birth control (the pill or the shot), the hormones in your body act differently than they used to which can be the cause of this sudden change.
there really is no need to worry--that is-- as long as there isn't a chance of your pregnancy.
don't forget that the pill is only 99% effective if used properly, and about 92% effective otherwise (skip/miss a pill.... or you don't take them the same time every day..... etc.)

tenderness and soreness are perfectly normal.
if it really bothers you, try massaging your breasts or perhaps taking midol if the pain is really intense.

cheers :)

I had the same problem. I talked to my gyno and went on low hormone birth control pills and it helped.

it happens to all of us. its hormonal. you may get them before or during your period. dont stress. its just part of being female. if they are hurting really bad though try a warm wheat pack or hot water bottle.

Believe me-I really would like to help you but it sounds like a dirty joke so I wouldn't want to touch them. On second thought...
