Overdoing it is a dead giveaway. Makeup should look natural and not like war paint.

Don't over do it, try to look natural & don't apply you're make-up too heavy, that is unless you're going for the drag queen look, then put the make-up on heavy. And remember to practice applying your make-up as often as you can.

go light with the make-up , light with the blush a green or blue eye shadow. nice light red lips. a short skirt with a nice pink top.

don't overdo it put black eye liner and the right color of powder and a blush of lipstick
