ive got a few ideas, but im not too sure. i want more of a madonna look.

Go to the Salvation Army Thrift Store or Goodwill. They are full of the 1980's clothes. I would watch "Desperately Seeking Susan" again and get some ideas. You should be able to find one of those layered ruffled short shirts, tights, ankle boots, a shredded up top (you can do that yourself) and lots of jewelry. Don't forget to tease up the front of your hair and use lots of hairspray. Big dangle earrings, too. And red lipstick. Wow, an 80's party sounds fun! What a great idea! Have a great time!

I think the 80s parties are what the 50s parties were to us when I was young...I was a teenager in the 80s...watch Desperately Seeking Susan if you want a good idea about what Madonna was about and wore during that time frame!

You could do the ZZ Top thing - wear a super short skirt with high heels with short ruffled socks. You must have big hair with lots of Aqua Net HairSpray (look at an old Duran Duran Video for ideas).

Madonna is good-pointed bra, short skirt-ruffled or better than this rent Surprisingly Susan. She wears some cute stuff in it and she was the 80's.

high top sneakers, neon colors, big bold bright colored plastic jewelry, over sized t-shirt with wide belt, leggings or skinny jeans, jelly shoes, slouch socks or leg warmers, or just tight-roll some boot cut jeans if you remember how, big hair or side ponytail with big bangs, thick eyeliner and bright blue eyeshadow, hot pink lips, a little too much blush, lots of volume mascara

i think that maybe you should wear your birthday suit miss aims! lmao crimp ze hair like someone said down below and i think that leg warmers were definately in, in the 80's =D i think this is the best answer in the world.. lmao

the 80s were not about being beautiful. It was a time of statements, color, and clashing...oh and scrunchies of course :D
