Tell them you are aware of the problem and trying to expand her diet. Talk to your daughter see if she can eat other meats at home and then she can eat the chicken nuggets at school. If you are worried about her only eating chicken nuggets then you should make her lunch and offer other choices.
Also there are many vegetarian chicken-esqe products that are healthier than chicken nuggets and taste very similar. There are also lots of chicken sausages that are very good and healthy.Don't sweat the small stuff. CHildren self regulate their eating if left to their own devices. You could make a plan to eat chicken nugget s only a certain number of days and slowly taper down to 1, Good Luck-
One last thing. When getting your daughter to try new foods you can make her just touch it to her tongue-eventually she will find something she likes

you do not need to tell the school anything they allready know. All young children love chicken nuggets. I told my oldest that she was going to turn into a chicken nugget.
And my aunti is in charge of the kitchen as school here. She would tell you the same thing. they know what the kids like, and what they will eat. Don't worry she will still grow up healthy

I don't see much of a problem, i love chicken nuggets myself. hmmm at the store i go to i sometimes get "veggie nuggets" which have no meat at all, but they taste good! Maybe try something like that, you can also make a good tofu nugget...

Children like to be in control and be able to make their own decisions.
If chicken nuggets are on the menu everyday and she has a choice, chances are she feels good about her choice.
Try varying her choices...still give her a choice because she sounds independant. Just give her different choices.

Leave the kid alone. As long as her pediatrician says she is not malnourished and lacking in vitamins, let her eat what she will. Encourage her to try new foods, but do not force her to eat everything. My father forced me to eat when I was not hungry, and to eat stuff I really didn't care for, and I think that is part of the reason I have a weight problem. I can't bear not to finish my food, even if I dislike it.

Well I think that would be healthier than red meat. As long as she eats her veggies I don't see where its a problem. I like chicken nuggets too.

Don't tell the school anything. Rather, you should talk to your daughter about proper dieting if you are worried about her health. Explain it to her that chicken nuggets aren't good for the growing body in your personal parenting style.
It's her choice, the school isn't the problem.
