Coachtrans is totally reliable and a good service and goes into the centre of Southport and Surfers Paradise so it is more direct but you need to book your ticket to be assured of a seat. The railway goes to Helensvale and Robina but there are buslinks that go directly into Surfers paradise and Southport. Just look up their websites.

You can't book the airtrain, it is public transport, so just show up at the station and buy a ticket.

There is a train direct from Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast. Get off at Helensvale station and get a Surfside bus to Surfers Paradise or wherever you are staying.

I don't know much about Coachtrans Aust, so if i were you I would stick with the train.

Check out www.transinfo.com.au to work out a journey.

No need to book a ticket, just buy one at the station. There's a direct line from Brisbane airport to the Gold Coast. No difference in price.

BTW, I hope you realise that June is the middle of the Aussie winter - won't be a lot happening on the Gold Coast then.....

Depends where you're staying. The airtrain only goes to Robina. Quite a way from the CBD of Surfers.
