I have to write an essay on this and am having big troubles. It seems so simple yet I can't seem to write a good introduction at all.

If someone could help me think of 3 arguments why aliens exist, I would be real greatful. Or even a start to a good introduction would be awesome.

There are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on all the beaches of the Earth. There's a neat place to start, especially if you consider that probably more than half of all single-star-systems probably contain planets.

Someone please dispute this, if one of these ideas is no longer a popular saying among famous astrophysicists.

1) If it could happen on Earth, why can't it happen somewhere else ? We have not even reached the edge of our own solar system. The Universe is infinitely larger.

2) Life didn't pop out of nothing. It was the result of a billion years of evolution. A series of chemical reactions which eventually created the sustaining network of metabolic processes

3) No proof has been found that life does not exist.

1. The elements that started life here on Earth have been found everywhere we look in the universe.

2. More than 200 planets have been found lying relatively near our own solar system. This strongly suggests that our galaxy, and others as well, have hundreds of thousands of planets in them, and certainly some of them must have conditions where life can begin.

3. There are about 70-sextillion stars in the entire universe. In terms of #2 above, the universe must have billions and billions of planets in it, and the odds that none of them have life are astronomical (..no pun intended..)

1st reason - earth is part of outerspace - look at all the life here!

2nd reason - comets have a combination of dirt and ice in them - where did that come from?

3rd reason - God spoke the universe into existence! Look up what a quark is.

Well let's just use basic probability:

So far we are 1 for 1 in OUR solar system, which by the way we haven't yet exlpored. Secondly, there are milliones, if not billiones of solar systems inside a galaxy. Our Galaxy is the milky way...am I expanding your mind so far? So the possiblity is HUUUGE!
