No? Too Bad...because here it comes and here's why.

1) Late 1980's early 1990's Monsanto, Carhgill, Archer/Daniels/Midland start rolling out GMO (genetically modified) crops (wheat, soy, rice etc.) worldwide. No testing, no oversight, no discussion if it's even a good idea...they just did it. All of these crops are genetically modified to be insect resistant.

2) Starting in the mid 1990's reports start surfacing of declines in honey bee populations. Studies are undertaken and find that honey bees are declining rapidly with no apparent explanation. The latest reports show an average 60% worldwide decline with as much as 80% in many areas.

3) So what? Ask Einstein...
"If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man," said Albert Einstein.

Can you say oops?

GMO crops produce toxins (by having genes from other plants/animals spliced into their genetics) to kill/repell insects. The bees pick up pollin from GMO crops which contain enough toxin to compromise their immune system (the exact phenomenon being reported). GMO crops replicate...the DNA doesn't go away it stays in the crop population.

The YouTube movie is a BBC documentary dolt! Not eveything on YouTube was made in someones bedroom...do SOME research.

I think that will be just one of many challenges for those who grow food.

Climate change. Who knows what will be in the air.

Chemical mutations due to depleted uranium and a million other dirty goodies will also pose challenges.

Who knows the effects of these chem trails with their cocktails of poisons? What will they do to everything they touch?

So my friend, we do not know what we are facing. I just know that summer is not summer without the lazy drone of bees working around in the garden!

1) I don't know anyone who is in favor of a worldwide famine.
2) Youtube is not a credible source.
3) Plants pollinate in a variety of ways.
4) I have not heard anything about the decrease in bee population.
5) Exactly how would genetically modified plants cause this?

Try getting some facts before posting. Facts are our friends.

I don't see the logical connection here. Because a plant is insect-resistant does not effect its ability to be pollinated by insects.
A world wide famine would be terrible for everyone. But it is not because of genetically altered plants designed to increase the food supply.

Bigfoot and his legions of interplanetary aliens! They can't wait until we are all dead and they can have this planet for themselves. Of course even Bigfoot knows that bees are not the only way that plants are pollinated.

Bush and his little Bushies are the only ones in favor of famine. They think people born poor have no right to live.
