I go to the shoe store and they never have any of my size (10.5) and I always see other women asking for 10s, so it can't be that uncommon. It seems easier to find plus sized clothing than 10+ shoes, and we can't help the size of our feet. I'm not an overly large person (5'6, 140 lbs) but both my sisters, who also are about the same size with the same sized feet have encountered similar problems. What gives?

One of my friends wears a 10.5 too. She has run into this problem quite often but has found a way to get the shoes she wants. A typical department store may carry all available sizes however, they may only have one pair of the the smaller (5.5 to 6.5) and larger (10+) sizes. However, certain stores (Nordstroms) who are really particular about customer service can order a shoe in your size if you ask, even if they aren't carrying that size. If you don't ask, you may miss out on a great pair of shoes. I also know that Kenneth Cole stores will order the shoes in 10.5 if you ask. Good luck!

OMG SO TRUE! I'm 13 and I'm 5 ft tall. My shoe size is 8 1/2 but since I don't wear high heals yet, there's nothing I can find that fits and is age appropriate! Models are suppost to look the way people WANT to look. But we're only human right?

My daughter has that problem. DSW has some in larger sizes and more expensive department stores in big cities sometimes carry them.

My daughter has size 11 1/2. She is only 125 pounds and 5 foot eight.

Go to stores that cater to and only to women with large feet. I know they have them. Or, look online at stores because quite often they have a wider selection of sizes online, and return in-store as well, not only online. I know Nine West carries more sizes online (wide sizes as well) Macy*s and Nordstrom as well. Good luck!!

I suppose most shoes are not ment to fit huge sizes of feets. But you can't help having your sizes of shoes. Besides, its also hard to find good shoes for small sizes of feet.

Shoe companies want to play it safe they do not want to take the risk of having over stock which could cause them to go under
