In other words, if people don't venture a part of themself, how can a friendship grow?

It can't.. Part of being a friend not only is to show compassion for someone.. but to trust someone enough that you can lower your pride and reveal that you may be the who is needing the compassion.

thats how a guy is with me =[ i try opening him up but cant every time he wants to open up and closes he says something mean to me but i ignore it and say something else 1 thing 4 sure i wont give up !! ill try hard to b friends with him !!
but yeah i hope t is possible to make friends w/ this problem

no, i guess not, but does others want you for something other than friendship

like for a negative reason that would not be very friendly
