If the wealth were redistributed, wouldn't lazy, ambitionless citizens such as yourself benefit from same? Why, I bet if you look hard enough there's a gov't entitlement program already in place for you, already funded by the rest of us hard working middle class taxpayers. In fact, I'd say this country is already redistributing wealth in shameful proportions....from our paychecks straight to programs for people just like you.

the people that redistribution of wealth is unfair to are those with the wealth. if take money from those who have to give to those who do not, you are simply moving money around in the economy. the rich get poorer and the poor get pooer. if you allow the wealthy to continue making monmeym, they have wealth to put back into the economy in the form of investments, jobs and so forth, thus multiplying money, not moving it. the rich get richer and the poor get richer. and i am speaking from a middle class stand point, not an aristocratic one

I'm too busy smoking crack and eating gov't cheese to work, but thanks for pointing out that ambition and drive mean little without opportunity. Unfortunately, ambition and drive are dependent on the individual whereas opportunity is dependent on society, you smarmy Jackhole.

redistribution of wealth to rich people is exactly what is going on now. it's called Fascism. I've read a lot of Communism these past few days and still trying to understand it more.....so far, it sounds like the way to go.

Redistribution of wealth has been going on forever. That's why 5% of the population own 95% of the wealth. If you think they did it all with hard work and determination only, then you need to reread your history.
