All small teams want to play the big guns, but the big guns do not want to play them. They need the money. The big guns know that their strength of schedule will come into play later in the year and play a very big part in the final standings. So, they dont want to have too many small-school games there. And god forbid they lose!?

It's not because of money Houston has money. It's all about recruiting wars. If one of the Big 12 teams lose to Houston that could be the difference in persuading a top athlete away from their school. There is already enough competition in the recruiting wars in Texas with Oklahoma taking the best talent.

Probably becasue they have nothing to gain and everything to lose. If then win, well then they should have, and if they lose they've been upset.
