Humans are not top predator, they're top scavenger, when's the last time you've killed your own meat?
Baby alligators are food for the following:
Snakes, herons, egrets, otters, foxes, skunks, raccoons, opossums, hawks, owls, osprey, snapping turtles, softshelled turtles, bass, gar, other alligators and anything else that moves that wants a bit of protien in their diet and can catch and kill or swallow whole an animal that starts out at 6-11 inches long.
When they hit about 4 feet long, most of these predators go away, but they still have to look out for other alligators until they are at least 5 or 6 feet long, sometimes bigger depending, of course on the size of the other alligator.

Yes when fully grown an alligator has no natural predators. You may have seen young alligators in little ponds, where they are pretty helpless. Snakes, otters, raccoons, even large fish love to eat baby alligators if they get a chance.

They are top predators when adults and prey to others, including alligators, when they are not fully grown. Birds like herons and egrets will eat young gators as will fish like largemouth bass.
