i agree with the Superbowl thing we have made some nice improvments. at first i wanted to see asante stay, but now it really doesn'ty made. he has been pretty average and had a breakout year most likely because it was the last year of his contract. but he needs one or two more years like this last one for the kind of money he wants.

I think the Patriots are a well-balanced team on both sides of the ball. I think signing Adalius Thomas from the Ravens was a real good move for their defense given his versatility. As for Samuel, I really don't know much about the situation, but I'd be willing to say that since he has his rings, I'm sure he now wants a bigger paycheck I suppouse.
And to Scott the Jets fan here. A Jets fan saying the Patriots are done? Imagine that. If you want to know why people continually talk about the Patriots, it's about more than just the fact that they "had a few good seasons." It's about the fact that they continually put themselves into a situation where they have a shot to go to another superbowl and get their FOURTH Vince Lombardi trophy in less than 10 years regardless of your "garauntee" that Tom Brady won't get another superbowl ring.
You can argue that the Pats where lucky to be in superbowl 36 after the contraversy of the "Tuck rule" in that AFC championship game vs. Oakland, but the fact remains that New England has been the most successful organization of this decade. They don't look to be regressing much either.
That's why people continue to talk about them, and this comes from a Ravens fan.

I also believe they can achieve that feat of winning 2 or 3 SB's in a row of course if there isn't a referee who calls against like one did in the AFC Championship where Ellis Hobbs was called for pass interference. 3 days later, game officials admitted the bad call. However, if the Pats keep playing like real warriors, they will eventually go far shutting lots of mouths. It's unbelievable that after winning 3 SB's there are many who insist that Pats are not for real. That is the price of ignorance that many have to pay jusrt for those few...anywayz...
Go Patriots!!!
PS
A 49er fan who supports Pats for being the best this decade.

the patriots are done? they were one game away from the superbowl just this year. i think they'll be superbowl contenders for a few more years. the patriots can do without asante because all of their players are so versatile and can play more than one position, ie. vrabel, thomas, brown

They will have strong team with all the new additions and some younger players maturing. They also draft well so time will tell.
