They don't melt but buildings don't collapse either. I can tell you where they were in a widebody aircraft. I can tell you I believe that the training for the suicide bombers here included how to disable that equipment. Pretty embarrassing and not a good image to reveal so I suspect we don't get those details. Were are they now? 911 in bits but other planes they poof disappear?
My conspiracy theory?? It's an election season you won't ever hear about them unless hillbill lose the election. As long as they run you will hear all the dirt garbage and any thing that makes you fear because that is where they live. But it will be fed to the public as sheep no matter what the cause/cost it takes.

I think aliens ate them, after they captured the bigfoots (bigfeets?) that flew the planes (really stolen UFOs) that were captured to find Atlantis and Lemuria. They use the nutrients of the black boxes to reproduce (both races) and create clones of our representatives so they can take over the world (pay no attention to that man behind the curtain yelling, "I did it! I planned the attack! Osama! Why won't you crazy Americans believe me! You really are crazy to think your cowboy President could do something so silly! I'm the hero of 9/11! Why won't they believe me!")
After the aliens reproduce all our representatives, they plan to create an Elvis and Michael Jackson clone army and take over the world, having confused "King of the World" with "King of Rock and Roll/Pop".
Oh, Don King and Martin Luther King, Jr. will be cloned as well.
And of course, they'll give you the grand prize for figuring it all out! A bronzed toilet seat!
I'm sorry folks, it just gets so silly in here sometimes. There's at least one of these guys who posts under multiple names and doesn't seem to understand how obvious it is, let alone how silly some of the arguments are for any of us who've actually got family in government.

Black boxes are recovered everytime. In all of aviation history the only black boxes never recovered were the ones on 911.
911 was an inside job.

Black boxes are very robust and will survive a great deal, but they are not completely indestructible. More than likely the black boxes vaporized in either the crash or the resulting fire.
