I think shaving head was actually spontaneous decision on her part and she later regretted it. That is why the idea to sell her hair for charity came with a slight delay.
To me Britney was pushed to a corner when everybody said "You, girl, need to do something NOW!!!". Look at her - the girl had everything: army of fans behind her, millions of dollars around her, and a fabulous career in front of her! Madonna kissed her and everyone got a good nice drool over it. People screamed that she is new Madonna!!! Pop Princess!!! Blah-blah-blah!!!
Out of a blue the girl starts to make some weird moves: first she married a guy who is basically nothing, then she decided to go down Jessica and Nick path and put her married life to Mr. Nothing on tape and show it to everybody!!! Then she decided to multiply!!!
Finally she got herself in a "quicksand" - one mistake after another; a position when everybody is got fed up with her stupid behavior, and, of course, paparazzi helped.
Honestly, being old enough to be her mother, my heart goes to her, simply because she is not that bad of a girl and could be (if will clean up) a greatest influence on her fans.
If she will get through this mess and take JT and Timbaland offer of help, she can get back whatever she left in Dire Straights.
She already stepped up in a lot of people's eyes by finally settle divorse process with Kevin F. And I sincerely wish her all the best...

She's been on the road to fame almost her whole entire life! That's enough to make anyone shave their head! She shaved it for a publicity stunt. It's almost impossible to miss that.
She isn't sure what to do now.... she's had 2 kids and everyone knows that females go through a personality change of some sort after the process of conception. It's biology.
She wants to have a normal life and be famous and it's a hard balancing act. Plus she's still sooo young! 2 kids... 2 failed marriages... and having to deal with public opinion about every tiny detail of her life! Not fun, especially if you let things get a tiny bit out of control. The Media Wolves are chowing down on your @ss and they never get full!
I think it's sad that K-Fed is such an ugly opportunistic punk.
He makes good lookin kids at least! Brittany is learning the hard way.... put yourself in her shoes and ask yourself how you'd feel?! Me?
I would've taken K-Fed DEER HUNTING! (without an orange jacket) OOOPs i did it again......

What I think, it was a desperate cry for help. Not many sane people would shave off all their beautiful hair to be bald.
A few have for money, that's a different story. Demi Moore and Halle Berry.
She's been out partying nonstop, spiraling out of control. She knew it had to stop, but didn't know how to stop it. She couldn't stop on her own.
Her last incidence finally did get her into rehab. Haven't heard much since she's been out. I think she wants a normal life, but doesn't know how.
It was a crazy way to get attention, but maybe it got her back on the right track.

Why do you cut yours? Why do you cut your nails~ Do you always wait for a good reason to cut it? Besides practical, people are also emotional and creative. Personally I believe Spears wanted to reboot. Like rebooting a computer. The effect is usually pretty refreshing.

Brit's getting onto 30 years old now and that makes her a senior citizen by Hollywood standards. She comes across as being afraid of getting old and accepting responsibility. If she's on dope of any kind, she'll age a lot quicker, too.
Too bad her kids are scared of her. K-fed could use that against her in custody court, if he wanted to.

To answer your question, no.
Getting married while drunk to a guy you knew in school, then annulling it after 55 hours is crazy. Marrying a street punk like Kevin Federline, who has produced six more babies than memorable songs in this world so far, is crazier. Drinking laxatives too often to keep your figure and cr@pping yourself during concerts so nasty you have to stop and do wardrobe changes, even more crazy.
She wasn't crazy for cutting her hair. She was crazy WAY before then.

No she is not crazy just cause she took and cut her hair off. why is it ok for a man to do that but when it comes to woman people have a problem with it.she is beautiful with or with out hair. growing up in high school a guy maily went after chicks for there hair why. that is so stupid.... no one would of thought twice about britany shaving her head if she had cancer... i hate this world ... people are just cruel.it will grow back.its her head no one elses

I think she (and many other celebrities) lost it a looong time ago. They let all the fame and attention get to their head and now they've ended up with these sorts of problems.

Yepp i do think it is horrible that her kids are afraid of her! and im sure she wanted attention but maybe she will 'turn over a new leaf' hha yea.

She did look TERRIBLE!!
But poor girl, she was having lots of trouble, and now I support her 100%, and hope that she gets her mind right before she does anything stupid again...
