Yeah, I love that song and play it on keyboard. It is just about breaking down all the barriers (like religion and nationality) and living as brothers and sisters. I think what he is saying at the start the last verse, "Imagine no possessions. I wonder if you can" is "Can I live without all my possessions." A lot of times when I write poetry or songs, I use the word "you" to mean "me".
