Yeah, I know of it from the movie Beetlejuice too. The name has stuck with me for some reason.

Means "from Lydia" in Greek. Lydia was a region on the west coast of Asia Minor. In the New Testament this is the name of a woman converted to Christianity by Saint Paul.

I love that name. I think some of the older names are coming back like Grace, Sophia, Nora, Ellie, Evelyn, Lillian.
I think Lydia Grace sounds very cute!

There are thousands of male names in the Bible but only a hundred or so girl names. Lydia is one of the few acceptable ones in my opinion. I am with you, I think it is lovely.
