Lots of scripture study, lots of prayer, fasting, and meeting with your priesthood leaders to make sure everything is going smoothly towards submitting your paperwork. Make sure you are ready to enter the temple, if you're not already endowed. If already endowed, attend the temple regularly.

There are lots of books at places like Deseret Book and Seagull Book & Tape about preparing for a mission. If you are close to a university with an Institute, you could check them out to see if they are having the Mission Prep class currently.

After the scriptures, a really good book to read is "Book of Mormon: Key to Conversion" by Glenn Pearson. It's a very small book, should take the average reader about an hour or two to really read and peruse it well.

This question should be in the religion/spiritually section only. Sorry I'm not a Mormon, and I can't help you any much. Anyways, I find Mormons to be very kind people. I have one Mormon Tabernalce Choir CD... Ahh.. so beautiful song to listen. =)

Read the REAL BIBLE, and tell the world about the REAL JESUS CHRIST, not the one your religion has made up. Thats all your church is. No mean to offend, but In Revelations 22:18-19 it says CLEARLY not to add or subtract anything from the Bible. Whats this whole thing about a book of mormon?? I wonder if that verse is in there?? Check it out. Jesus Christ is God the Son, so how can he and the devil be brothers?? It seems too unbelievable to me, but whatever....I Hope that one day you will see the truth, and not send the world to hell.

How about save your money, you are wasting it on a rich lazy church that very cleverly hides behind religion to allow tax free income. You are another sucker spending your hard earned money and wasting two years of your life on something made up by a known liar.

You really need to read ALL the sources of church dogma before you go out and be 'lead by the spirit'. Theologically, you're no match for anyone who knows religion and spirituality.

Oh, that and stay away from me and my family.
