Bigots are against illegal immigration because "We already got too many of them people here!!"
- I'm against illegal immigration because of national security.
Bigots are against wellfare & food stamps because they don't want their money helping "them ni@@ers & sp!cks!"
- I want wellfare & foodstamps reformed (and reduced) because they are a very inefficent form of assistence, usually creating more dependence rather than encouraging independence.
Bigots are against affirmative action because "We white folk just can't get jobs now that 'those people' are getting them!"
- I am against affirmative action because it perpetuates the myth that minorities are inferior & need extra help, thereby doing more harm than good for race relations.
Just because most bigots are Republican doesn't mean that most Republicans are bigots.

The right-wing appeals to the most racist factions. Anything liberal or expressing tolerance does not appeal to them. The conservative political element has consistently played upon and courted those with racist sentiments in American society. In the 1960s, their cause was “state’s rights” as a counter to the federal civil rights acts. In the 1970s, the Republicans used the “Southern Strategy” to court the white southerners who were against civil rights for African Americans. You will obviously therefore find more racists among the conservatives.

A racist remark is a racist remark. Just because a black person happens to say it in a comedy routine or on a rap album doesn't make it any less racist. So,.......if you're going to grill an idiot white radio jockey, then the list of guilty black offenders is going to take a lot of time on the BBQ! After all, fair is fair, RIGHT?????????????

Dear, as Democrat who loves free speech, you are not listening to all the stations on the dial.
Look up the racist things that Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton have said. Look at both sides. You don't do the Democrat party credit if you present us as unable to see from one side of our face.
We should be about free speech AND equality.

That's because you define racism as you go. You tailor the definition for whatever suites your needs.
When you Liberals learn to interpret everything on the basis of what you THINK and not kneejerk react to what you FEEL about something, some progress can be made.
But you can't. You slur, slander, and malign something to fit you agenda.

I've never noticed that. From what I've seen racist knows no political barriers nor does it know any particular color or race for that matter.

You don't know the meaning of context?
Hypersensitivity might have something to do with your skewed perspective.
