I would not know. I am African American. But if they do, they have no reason to. That is like stereotyping.. not all black women are agressive and loud or will hurt you.

WOW!!... I love your honesty and appreciate your question! It's because alot of (not all) African American women feel like they need to be intimidating to get respect. So they are loud and have unnecessary attitudes all the damn time. Those are the ones that the "angry black woman" stereotype is base on. It kinda sucks.. but it is what it is...

Some do/Some don,t --Because they complain about people being racist like they did with Imus. Some whitegirls are afraid of gettin their @$$ kicked , and some are afraid of being called out by Rev Al Sharpton who seams to be around only when there is racism to be stirred up. Probly afraid to be sued if they(white girls) kick some @$$.

I had a friend that is black. In fact she was my boss for 4 years. We got along great, team players, etc. While to make a long story short, she got fired, they moved me into her position, and she sent some sort of email to our corporate office and they fired me in February. So , I'm sorry, but to me she is a back stabbing bi**h. Never again. This white girl learned her lesson....never trust ANYBODY again, and color has nothing to do with it. My kids are of mixed race.

Generally I'm not intimidated by them, but I know there are times when you don't want to mess with a sister, regardless of race!

Sounds like you do have a semi-bias...maybe you have an ingrained stereotype of African Americans and you do not realize it... you could just be a very shy person as well. I for one am not intimidated...they are women just like I am :)

Speak for yourself. I believe all people are equal. I am white and don't find them intimidating.
