I dont fear the dentist as such, just when they stick a sharp looking object or get a worried look on their face i get a bit nervous, and i hate the taste of rubber gloves when they poke around in your mouth- it's disgusting

I hate the dentist. I only go because I have to. I had a bad experience when I was young and can't seem to put it behind me.

No, I don't. But a friend of mine went to the dentist and he examined her teeth. He told her she had a couple of teeth which were in bad shape, and he'd have to pull them. She said, " Oh my, I think I'd rather have a baby than have my teeth pulled." He said, "Well, make up your mind lady, I need to adjust the chair."

Sadly, yes. I am grown, and I should not be afraid of a dentist ; but I am. I always reschedule appointments just to put it off....
