1. Least admirable? Hmmm....I can't think of anything. He's brave and loyal to Juliet till the very end. He trespassed into the Capulet's orchard? lol (later) Oh, he loves Juliet not for her character but her beauty.

2. That's easy. He talks well, very romantically. And he's a good fighter (he kill Tybalt and Paris)

3. Probably Friar Lawrence. But a lot of the time he doesn't listen to Friar Lawrence either, like when the Friar warns him not to marry Juliet so quickly.

4. "What light through yonder window breaks?/ It is the East, and Juliet is the sun!"

5. He'd spend another night with Juliet.

6. His ability to love someone so completely and selflessly.

1. Romeo is young,so he's a bit flawed and there are a few answers for this but my suggestion is Look at the fight scene in the square. Doesn't he leave his cousin dying on the street and runs away so that he is not caught fighting when the authorities arrive? It is a bit unforgivable to leave a beloved cousin to die alone if you brought him into the fight to begin with. If that wasn't him running from the fight, he was so headstrong in love that he immediately kills himself in the end rather than waiting a day and becoming a sullen monk. It's all or nothing with him...and being so very impetuous can be a negative personality trait ( as well as sometimes being a positive.)

2. Romeo is good at knowing what he wants. Is that an answer you can find examples for? He knows he loves Juliet and no one he speaks to can change his heart or mind. He feels he has to see her/speak with her/die with her if he can't live without her. Isn't Romeo also an excellent swordsman? He is a nobleson so he is probably very learned in swords and horses.

3. greatest influences? This can be anything you pick. Your teacher probably wants to see if you can justify what ever you pick. Tho, i think his cousin is older than him, and the counsel of the Friar carries much weight in his actions thruout the play which can arguably be a big influence on his character. I think he also values his family and he wants to uphold his father's wishes but his heart won't let him "hate" Juliet because of who her family is.

4. Do you need a common modern quote he might say or something actually from the play? You have to read your assignment description to get the answer for this one. There are plenty of good quotes on the web if you need modern ones. Google quotes about love; he's probably the love type. OR pick almost anything he says in the play if you need it that way and be sure you can back it up with examples as to why you picked it.

5. this is your opinion. The teacher wants you to project your imagination on the character and give an answer that MAY be plausible to the personality of that character. He already has only one day to live, but he doesn't know it now does he? And what does he do? Travels very fast into town and doesn't stop to consult with any of his friends before ending it all--right? I think perhaps if he had known this he may have taken her= Juliet, away with him the day/week before.

6. Again this is your time to put in an opinion! However, As I said above being so headstrong and so passionate about Juliet he doesn't let a family feud which still remains ingrained in their collective consciousness, even tho people stopped remembering why it started, deter him from loving Juliet so fully and admirably. I don't know if it was great, but it was certainly an accomplishment to get Juliet to agree to be married. a noble family as she was is sure to impose so many rules on her and in-grain in her the moral standards of wedding chapel marriage and not telling lies to family/her nurse(nanny if you will) and sneak him into her room by night.
