I have been told that before. Myself, I want to know what opinions real people have on my question or situation. You can't help it if you are a straight forward person.

I believe they just want straight answers from you that they are to lazy to get on the computer and find out the answers themselves. (I'm sorry but I do realize some people just won't try to find out answers by themselves before asking for help.)
Maybe you can try something like, "I don't really know the answer either but let's google it and find out?" I guess that way it seems like you want to help rather than just "google it" coz they might think you don't bother about what they're asking and you just tell them to go away and find out.
Hope this helps a bit~

It relies upon if i'm getting indignant or no longer - i think of if a stranger says this perchance it incredibly is a potential to no longer make a mistake through calling my daughter a boy... although, while my father noted as her 'It' i grow to be very taken back through it. P.S. I cant even count type the variety of situations my woman, decked out in her little pink gown, has been noted as a boy... very stressful. i'm particularly indignant they could think of i could do this to my boy, yet in any different case we in simple terms snigger at how stupid some persons are.

I used to say that as well. And people used to get angry as well. I assume it because we are here to ask questions of other people. We all know we can Google it but it is the interaction people enjoy when asking a question.
It is good to hear peoples opinion as well

Well, if they want to know bad enough, they should google it. If they just want an opinion on something, that's when Y!A comes in handy.
Shouldn't they be mad at themselves for not thinking of that first??? :P

How about, "I found that out, and other fun filled facts on Google. Try it." Employ lots of sarcasm, it's just better that way.

The same reason I get ticked when my wife tells ME to "google it"! If I wanted to "google it" myself, I wouldn't have gotten married!!
Oh wait...never mind.

Even though I know what google is, I still get a chuckle when I hear it. It almost sounds kinky.
