hey, everybody out there who writes, answers, asks about armenian genocide. i have one question. were you there? do you have anyting, but anything that you REALLY know. besides the stories your gramma told, or your president of now told...

i dont. my gramma told a lot of stories. by grandpa told a lot of stories. but i refuse to believe bc even they WERE not there.

so, why dont you just wait till proffesors find out a proof of what happened or what happened not? only scientific proofs can be counted as proofs, you know. and nobody has any.

all you are doing here is just nonsense and provaking people.

to the lady who talked about pyramids..

pyramids are te poof themselves. you can see that they are THERE. and yes to my logic, nothing can be proved unless there are scientific poofs. you cant prov that it happened- or didnt happen-unless you have scientific proofs...

I don't know what is worst. Swallow knowledge or fanatic racism.
Both tend to the same point!
Back to the Dark Age.
If you want proofs, you can find easily. So, I think is waist of time to write you down some. And when I say proofs I mean proofs. Academically and scientifically accepted proofs. I think you're very aggressive and you don't want answers. It's good that you have doubts and you don't accept anything. But some things are so clear. I'm Greek and I don't like when they say that my ancestors (eg : Leonidas, Alexander the Great, Achilles) slaughtered many Persians, Troes or Turks or many others. The same happens with Turks. They don't like to hear anything about the Armenian and the Pontic Greek Genocide. Or the Germans about the Holocaust. Or other nations about other crimes. But, this is history. We can't change it. We have to remember, in order to avoid the same mistakes, coz in reality people have no reasons to fight each other. "Leaders" and their vanity make wars.

If you REALLY don't find anything send me an e- mail.

Acutally, other than survivors and historians there are books that show images and newspaper clippings from this time period. It is sick to see the images. So if you are interested in knowing facts you may want to purchase books written near the time of the Genocide, or another thing you can do is go to your local library and look at slides where New York times, and many other publishers back in the days were writing daily about the occurances. Its crazy that this doesnt come out considering it exists...

It's really hard to prove something when the Government that committed it keeps any and all evidence under their control, when they throw people in jail for even implying that they committed an atrocity. It's not very debatable that it happened, just because you choose not to accept that it was genocide does not make it so.

It was the first major genocide of the 20th century, and even without any support in investigating from the perpetrator Turkey, the evidence is out there. If for some reason you choose to think it didn't happen that's your issue. Did those several hundred thousand Armenians kill themselves?? And even the most casual scan of the information that is out there shows that there's more to it than Turkey's government says. That's probably why the only historians in the world who don't think it was a genocide are mostly turkish.

My goodness. If I understand you correctly, you refuse to believe anyone who wasn't there, with the exception of your Professors.
So, you believe Ted Kennedy's side of the story of him drowning that poor girl, because no one else was there or rather is still alive to tell their lie?
At least you will believe what servicemen who have been to Iraq have to say about it and you do NOT believe John Murtha?
I sure hope you only have honest Professors, but somehow I really doubt it. Most of them are lying communists.

Turkish side has proofs actually, what Armenian side has is things like "why would they leave Anatolia" they call this proofs, and they don't let our historians search together with Armenian historians...
that was a war when Armenians joined up with Russia and try to stab ottomans from the back and in the end there were deaths in both sides...but then Russia messed them up too now they made up a lie to get some money what a pity way to get what they want...

Hi,

So-called Armenian Genocide is an absolutely lie.
I will explain, what happened on April, 24 1915.

The Ottoman government, against numerous rebellions that began after 1890 and promptly following Armenian massacres which resulted in the murder of tens of thousands of Turks, contented with informing most important persons of Armenian congregation and Armenian deputies that "Government will take the necessary precautions if Armenians continue to stab in the back and assassinate the Turks". However, it became a necessity to secure behind the borders because the army was in war at various fronts, the events did not stop but increased and assaults towards defenseless Turkish women and children increased.

With this aim, on April 24, 1915 the Armenian Committees were closed and 2345 of their directors were arrested due to the crime of carrying out activities against the government. April 24, which is commemorated annually as the "Anniversary of Armenian Massacre" by the Armenians abroad is this date when the 2345 revolutionary committee members were arrested and it has no relation with deportation.

TURKISH DIPLOMATS KILLED BY THE ARMENIAN TERRORISTS DURING THEIR DUTY

The main targets of Armenian terror organizations, ASALA in particular, were now being chosen from among Turkish diplomats abroad. The first of the series of terrorist attacks was carried out against Mehmet Baydar, the Turkish Consul General in Los Angeles and his Deputy, Bahadir Demir.
The assassinations were perpetrated by an Armenian by the name of Gurgen Yanikan in 1973.

This individual action turned into organized Armenian terror as of 1975 and further escalated as of 1979. 110 acts of terror were carried out by Armenian terrorists in 38 cities of 21 countries. 39 of these were armed attacks, 70 of them bomb attacks and one was an occupation. 42 Turkish diplomats and 4 foreign nationals were assassinated in these attacks, while 15 Turks and 66 foreign nationals were wounded.
