the World trade Center was in the USA. Those who died were Americans mostly. Muslims are radical and in every country. Everyone is scared to death of them. No question about it they rule the world right now. they want to stay out and that keeps them from getting all their stuff burned up and blown up. Remember the Danish country who put out a cartoon? that was a good example. They wanted to make a lesson out of them and practically burned the place down.
In essence saying we rule don't cross us.
so everyone backs down to them and they rule.
Saying we are sorry don't make any more cartoons.
Look what they have done in Africa? That is what happens to anyone who crosses them.
But eventually everyone is going to have to get on board against them because as one african leader said, they won't stop. They will keep it up until they force the rest of the world to ban together and act as one. Let them know that the world doesn't fear them anymore but that they should fear us.
Then and only then will we have peace.

I take terrorism very seriously and I disagree with radical Islam totally. I don't think I'm either Democrat or Republican though, I will say I am a social liberal and fiscal moderate. Thus, represented by who? =) I think that the difference between the Democrats and Republicans is not so much one takes it seriously and the other doesn't but a difference in how they see the best approach to dealing with it. To me there was no link between Saddam and 9/11, in fact he was a secularist and enemy to many of the more religiously radical regimes in the area, particularly Iran. The bulk of the terrorists came from Saudia Arabia, none came from Iraq. Saddam was a horrible despot but the Iraqi people are now suffering more under the war than they were under Saddam. This is not a conventional war against a well defined opponent. Many innocent civilians, including many children have been killed. Most want us to leave their country now. This worries me because I think that what causes terrorism is people becoming radical due to feeling they have been horribly wronged. Thus, my fear is that some people who lose a child or family members in the war in Iraq will now be motivated to become terrorists. I think the main causes of terrorism by Muslims have been the situation between Israel in Palestine and generalized poverty and oppression. These conditions often make people become more psychotically religious in response. I think Israel has a right to exist and be safe but so does Palestine and they have not been granted these rights. I think establishing a viable border between the two countries would help the political situation immensely. I also think that post 9/11 we had an great opportunity to band together with countries around the world to create more powerful anti-terrorism networks and prevention programs. My husband is European and we were in a foreign country when 9/11 happened. So many people who heard I was American were coming up to me and hugging me even though they really didn't know me well. I couldn't stop crying that day, because of the shock and horror of what had happen but also because of the incredible outpouring of emotion and support from these people. The last time I visited however, I had people with concerned faces asking me if America really thought letting Israel bomb children was going to solve anything. If we are involved in creating peace in a fair and neutral way I think that will go a long way to helping the terrorism problem. I think becoming a global partner in solving terrorism is the way to go. I think there is more chance of this with Democrats, whereas Republicans have now pretty much all thrown themselves behind an ill conceived war. In fact, all the things that have stopped the continued attempts are due to the anti-terrorist actions of individual countries. I am concerned about things like the coverage not long ago about how many cargo loads come into our ports without inspections from Middle Eastern countries. I think paying more attention to stuff like that would do as much to secure our safety. I don't see evidence that war has stopped or helped the problem at all. Lastly, the war is draining our coffers. The national dept is 8,511,918,568,550.04 and growing now by over 1.7 BILLION dollars a day! This is not healthy for our economy and continued economic prosperity. It worries me. The war is tremendously expensive. Some companies are going to get rich from it and the weapons manufacturers are happy but the average citizen is going to get screwed. Sorry to be so long winded but it is complicated and hard to sum up briefly.

You might ask yourself, how do you define a "terrorist"? Most people would probably say something along the line of someone who attacks unarmed civilians.

Then, why is attacking Iraq part of a "war on terror"? Iraq never attacked American civilians. There were no Iraqis involved in 9/11, almost all the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. Why, then is America still friends with Saudi Arabia?

When Americans kill Iraqi civilians, why doesn't that make the Americans terrorists?

Why is it that when Palestinians kill Israelis, they are called terrorists, but when Israelis kill Palestinians they are just "defending themselves"?

Questions like these lead many around the world to accuse Americans of being hypocrites, and of using the phrase "war on terror" as an excuse to justify attacking other countries.

Because they're generally more educated and know it's not a "war on terror".

Iraq STILL has NO CONNECTION to Osama bin Laden. What ever happened to him anyway... he's probably living in Washington D.C. again.

If it's written in an online book, it MUST be true!!!! right? Nobody would write a book, just for money would they?

BTW, Islam is the 2nd largest religion in the world and the fastest growing, so maybe Europe WILL become primarily Muslim. What is the "Islamic Empire", and what does THAT have to do with terrorists? Are we all part of the Reverend (Christian) Jim Jones Empire since HE was a Christian American?

Your profile says:
"I will get Eroupe to think the war on Terror is not bull crap. They need to be more fucused on it befor it is to late"

AGAIN, it's about education. It's "Europe", "focused", "before" and "too". Not to mention if you're going to say "Terror" then you should say "War on Terror" OR leave it lowercase.

Fu*@$ dude! That's embarrassing FOR ME!

YEP, I checked the link... AGAIN it's "check" not "chek"
You need to stop trying to become political, and instead open a dictionary and practice spelling first.

If given the choice of living in an Islamic Empire, which promotes peace, tolerance and respect by the way, or listening to ignorant and bigoted religious ranting and promotion of intolerance of something that you don't like then I will take Islam every time.
Islam is not guilty of any acts of terrorism it is individuals that are guilty.
As you like reading so much try and get hold of a translated copy of the Koran, then maybe you will appreciate that all religions preach the same message of peace and tolerance, not just the christians.

Europe doesnt take the war seriously because of the following reason:
1) Its not a war on terror
2) Europe is preparing backup in case the US casualties increase rapidly
3) US attacked Iraq when Iraq had nothing to do with Osama BIn Laden. Iraq had its own civil war going on and the US came out of nowhere and mistook that Iraq was involved in "the war of terror.
4) This entire war is stupid and is a waste of money for the US and Iraq, and a waste of time for every person in the world who knows about this war.

Because the "war on terror" is mainly focused on the Middle East. Europe has been fighting in the Middle East since the Romans tried to conquer it. The Romans knew that they could win a war in the Middle East but they were never able to keep a hold on it. Britian, France, and many other countries had holdings over there even up until the middle of the 20th century. They learned their lesson. There has been fighting since the dawn of time over there and Europe being much older than the United States has learned to just let it be. There always was fighting over there and there always will be fighting over there. It is easy to conquer but impossible to hold.

I assume your an American. Where were you lot when we were being blown up week in week out by the IRA. I'll tell you where you were. You were selling arms to them and funding there terrorism. Obviously 9/11 was a tragedy and needs to be dealt with but to suggest that Britain is not serious about terorism only goes to show how little of the rest of the world you lot in America actually know about.

How do you define Terrorism?Does being anti-American make someone a terrorist?Should the rest of the world bow before the USA to avoid being branded terrorists?Bush said "You are either with us,or against us",unfortunately for him, most of the world is against American Imperialism. Most Europeans can think for themselves,& are not taken in by the 'War on Terror' crap.

Because to Europeans- terrorism is NOT a "war", but a fact of life that they've been dealing with for many, many years. They don't go after entire countries when they're attacked by terrorists; they hunt down the group who plotted it- & put THEM out of business. On 9/11- we were attacked by people from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, & several other countries. But NONE of them came from Iraq- or Afganistan even! And we didn't even catch the "ringleader" of the attack- Bin Laden. -We invaded another country because we didn't happen to like the way the guy did HIS business (Sadam)! Can you BLAME the Europeans for looking at us & shaking their heads??!
