As for the swordtail, just keep her tank clean and keep her well fed. Once she gets really close to delivering she will need a tank to herself with tons of plants, either live of plastic. She can deliver there and the babies can hide in the plants. Then remove her back to the original tank. Breeder nets are usually not the best choice for swordtails because of their size and because they are known for jumping.

If you don't care about the babies, you can just leave her there. (however the babies most likely won't survive)

If you want to try and keep the babies, your gonna need to take a trip to a pet store.

-get some kind of container, or a breeding net to put in your tank. (this is to separate the babies from all the other fish, even the mother eats the fry.)

-get baby fish food. (this is usually only about 5 bucks) and feed the babies 3 times a day. Make sure not to feed them too much, just a small pinch.

-the small fish take a lot of time and care. But if you make sure to keep the water temperature normal, and clean the tank regularly, you might get some new grown fish.

(The time it takes for the fish to mature varies greatly. It can take up to a year, or just 3 months.)
