sand is stuck in the inside of my swimwear; it is plaid and the background is white, i tried stretching it out and rubbing my fingers on the area but it takes too long.

any suggestion for getting rid of the sand?

Throw it in the washing machine.

I would try to carefully open up a few stitches of the seam in the lining of the suit to allow the sand to fall out.

if you didn't go to th beach, that isn't sand.
swimsuits get old, and the rubber stretches out. when it does, it looks like sand. there are a wole bunch of dots. if that's the case, you have to either deal with it, or throw away you're swim suit.

If this is causing you some anxiety, throw it away. It is not worth it.
