I am a Filipino American and had asked my dad that same question when he was alive. He said the best place will be our home, back here in the Philippines. I found it too corny that time.
In 2005, I went to California & stayed there for 6 months. I spent my first Christmas away from home in San Francisco. I really cried that time. It might be one of the most loveliest cities in the USA and in the world but my heart belongs to where my family is.
I had also been in San Diego, Concord, El Centro, LA, Simi Valey and Camarillo, Alisso Viejo in Orange County!
I love the convenience of San Francisco, I love San Diego better and love Camarillo the best.
I hate polluted and traffic LA!
