What could cuase be the cause for my Ford Explore 4.0 V6 to not stay running.?

Colud it be the Head Gasket. And if so how much would it cost to replace typicaly

head only if water in the oil , oil in the water your,problem needs more detail could be any thing ,fuel delivery fuel air mixture ,break down of spark ,converter etc let me know more when it happened

we need more information, there are too many things that can cause the engine to stall out.
