Hmm... "take advantage"... negative connotations.
Here's another theory of mine... we take advantage of others all the time. At the end of the day, our relationships are about *what we need*. Luckily, what most of us need is to share ourselves with others... to learn and change and grow from our interactions. I think that need is selfish... we don't give unless there is some form of *something* that we *get back*. There is always a need to be filled...
In a symbiotic way, we willingly and knowingly take advantage every day. So... yes... I take advantage all the time. It's when things are not symbiotic... that one person's needs are not being met, that we run into trouble.

Wicked! you are quite the 'deep one' aren't you :) Depends Sharon, you could take advantage of someones prowess in order to achieve a goal which would be deemed PC you'd agree? - but then you could pick up someones dropped wallet right behind them and keep it, not so PC :) I think it's semantics in the end as surely no one would answer 'yes' in a bad way.....would they??? mmmmm - I talk to my wife about manipulating situations to gain the desired outcome and in her eyes, that is wrong. If your intentions are honourable, then I think manipulation is an absolute 'lifetool', despite the stigma society has associated with the word. I guess a saying someone shared with me that best answers your question is "People will always help you get to the top, you don't 'have to' stand on anyone to get there...."
PS: Because of the intriguing nature of your questions(great brainfood:) I have added you to my friends list - hope you don't mind :)
