I'll have $1,457.00 counting this.

My dear friend, your question specifically said $1.00 for every question you ANSWERED, and I checked your profile, you have 1487 answers so you're only $1,487 rich (last I looked). But you do have 6,488 points - good job! - but that's not what you asked.

I'd have $1,682.00 . But, that's not what "Answers" are all about. It's about an Intelligent, Insightful, and sometimes downright Silly and Childish Exchange of Ideas to and from People all over the World. If given a Choice between that Sum of Money to Forget all the Good Things I've Learned Here, or not, I'd Definitely keep "Answers" ! I've Learned so very much, and tried to Share My Knowledge with others as well. It just doesn't get much better than this, especially at this Price, $ O ! Always Remember, the Best Things in Life are Free !

As of today I would have earned over $2,422 dollars (2,433 after this question). And if you paid based on only best answers then I would have earned $806.

To bad Yahoo Answers doesn't pay for your participation on this board. When I first joined Yahoo Answers last year Yahoo promised me 1 prize per level, so far I have only gotten three and I am well on my way to level 7 so I feel that Yahoo has fallen far short of its promises, much less far below the $2,000 I could have earned from answering questions. If Yahoo did that though they would be bankrupt since they earn a whole lot less than $1 per question answered.

Of and if you just wanted to know how many points people have you only have to mouse over their avatar and you only need to click on their avatar to see all the details; like the questions they have asked, the answers they have given and their best answer rate.

By the way I don't know where you got your $7,000 figure from since you have only answered 1,488 questions (as of this point in time). Your are off quite a bit, but then it may just feel like you answered that many questions or you might have gotten 6,000 of your answers challenged and removed. That can't be true, because I think Yahoo would have kicked you off long before that time.

Well, that depends on how many questions you answer a day. I you answered once a month, it would take a while to reach a hundred at that pace. I, myself, would get a couple of dollars a day at a nice and steady pace. Oh well!
