I did the first few times I ventured on to P&S. I answer both serious and fun questions. I have made some really great friends on here. Most (even the joker's) are really great supportive people. I look foward to some of their answer's cause when I have had a bad day, I know they will make me laugh. So even if I don't ask a question I am still getting something great out of it.

Yes!
Sometimes the questions are quite disturbing, others are just plain stupid. People must sit around racking their brains for something to ask.
The other thing is lack of education for the majority of users. Most questioners have no idea of grammar and can't spell. I know you can't help being ignorant in the grammar department, if you had little or no education, but, at least, please use the spell check!
I still go on here because, occasionally, you get some really good, thoughtful questions.

Most definitely!!! Sometimes the questions are thought provoking or really funny, but lately they are becoming increasingly bizarre and I wonder why I keep logging in and wasting my time. Must get a life outside computers!!!

Yep pretty much every time I think I may turn here to get some real advice or answers I run into someone being dumb just to answer questions like they are going to win tons of money or really big prizes or something.

No i look around at the real questions and see if i can help anyone out with what i know,i know there are lots of idiots and jokers on here,but i just ignore most of the rubbish.

All the time. I'm not saying everyone, there are some pretty decent replies sometimes, but some of them beggar belief don't they? The viciousness of some of them...were they brought up or dragged up?

Sometimes I have read answers from people who must have a gigantic chip on their shoulders, and others that try to shock you with their answers. I usually put them on ignore and concentrate on the answers of those who are really trying to help. (I guess it takes all kinds???)
