completely agree! it's so freakin annoying hearing all these civil rights people making such a big deal out of this. i actually just posted a similar question about it because i'm so annoyed about this issue. i thought what Imus said was actually pretty funny, lol. same as how when chris rock or dave chapelle make fun of black, asian, hispanic, white people.

people need to stop being so darn sensitive and learn that comments are going to made like that and even if they say sorry, nothing is going to change because theyr'e just saying sorry becaues they have to so that the "offended" will stop crying. WHY does it offend them so much anwyays? who care? it's nothing personal! geez!

it reminds me of the michael richards incident how it was so blown up. and just because he said sorry doesn't mean anything. he's still going to feel the same way.

Yup. It seems like NOBODY can take a joke- nowadays. We're becoming a Society that's big on "feelings", & short on sense. Imus has been shooting off his mouth like this for DECADES (never mind- years), & so has Howard Stern, & so has Rush Limbaugh- and so has too many others to count. So suddenly what Imus said is offensive???! I don't listen to ANY of those guys- and I'm perfectly CAPEABLE of changing the channel if I DON'T like what I hear. If all we've become is a whiney Society of victems- that cry, "bleat, bleat, bleat" at every percieved & imagined insult, -I don't know WHAT to tell you!!! I guess the concept of "turning the other cheek"- no longer applys to Christians. ... -Or maybe it was never ment to... :(

Wayyyyyyyy overboard. What Imus said was NOTHING compared to the racial slurs made by Sharpton and Jackson in the past.

One word:YES! But,by them constantly shoving it down your throat, they are only boosting Imus's career. But,of course they aren't thinking of that, they would rather play the race card, and get people to start hating one another. Just remember,if we as Americans let this stuff go on,we will eventually lose our right to:FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Then where will we be.

I must be out of it because I dont see how being called 'nappy headed' is a racist remark. If anything someone a ho is inexcusable unless he has some reason to say it. Do these girls wear corn rows? Cuz lots of girls where corn rows, which, are not cool, imho. But seriously, I forgot what cool was a long time ago.

It just gives racists like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson A bigger platform to spout their racist crap
