It is so true!
I think it is because when asian people look at eurasians, they only notice the features that aren't present in your average asian person - they notice the caucasian features (e.g. higher nasal bridge, "double" eyelid crease, dark brown hair {as oppose to black hair}), whereas caucasian people would only notice the features that aren't present in your average caucasian person (for example, they would notice the dark hair {as opposed to lighter shades of brown / blonde / red}, dark eye color, eyes that aren't as deep set, high cheekbone structure, etc).

I do agree with some previous answers that strong Asian features, especially in the face and eyes, appear to be dominant. My father is Malay-Chinese and my mother is German, meaning that I am half asian and half caucasian. Nearly every person I have met has told me my ethnicity is asian. My brother also looks asian. It is very hard to tell that we have German relations. I also know someone whose mother is British and father is Malay-Chinese, although, to me, she looks completely asian. Have you ever wondered why the population of countries in eastern Asia always tend to keep their strong asian features, even though there are many parts largely inhabited by foreigners? Connections of Asia with the western world have only really developed within the last century or so, but Asian features have never seemed to "blend" in strongly with the other ethnic groups.

Sounds about right, but to the practiced eye (my kids are half white half Asian) they end up having their own look entirely. And it is a very good look.

That's what I've heard from my Asian friends. I think it's like that with a lot of cultures. Like my family, not Mexican enough for the Mexicans, not white enough for the whites.

Most of them look like Central Asians, Tajiks, Uzbeks, or even Eastern European/Russian because of the Mongol hordes that raped those nations. The mongolian features are pronounced and conspicuous enough to not classify them as aryan or white .

its all perception. In reality, i think most look half asian half white, what they are. But it is true, white people see them as asian, asian people see them as white. 99% of the time its true, its one of those few racial things that are kinda true.

lots of people sees differently with their eyes. They judge too easily. This is why people sees differently on one person.
