It depends upon the kind of spell cast, the mindset of the practitioner at the time the spell was cast, the intention of the spell cast, etc etc etc.

One cannot categorically say 'no' because there are many instances where the magick, because it is so strongly directed towards the person and is repelled (for whatever reason) it can be re-distributed to those closest to them. Think of trying to spray someone with water. If they are standing close enough to someone else, and move out of the way, your water hits them instead. Same principal applies.

This can be especially true if you target their surroundings instead of the person itself. Since other members might be more spiritually 'weak' against such directed energy, the spell flows towards them instead.

Also, it is possible for other people, because of their love and/or depth of caring for another, to have a strong enough bond with them that even if the spell goes to the intended, the bond will channel that energy towards the other person unsuspectingly. Thus, they might be siphoning off most of the energy (thus, the affects) of the spell while the intended feels little or nothing. The laws of consequence do not take such ignorance into affect when considering rebound, so if you did a black magick spell and it went to someone else instead, you'll get double whammied, both for the spell and for the person you innocently screwed over.

The Wiccan Rede

Bide ye Wiccan laws you must,
in perfect love and perfect trust.

Live ye must and let to live,
fairly take and fairly give
For the circle thrice about
to keep unwelcome spirits out.

To bind ye spell well every time,
let the spell be spake in rhyme
Soft of eye and light of touch
speak ye little, listen much.

Dosil go by the waxing moon
chanting out ye baleful tune
When ye Lady's moon is new,
kiss ye hand to her times two

When ye moon rides at her peak,
Then ye hearts desire seek
Heed the North winds mighty gale
lock the door and trim the sail.

when the wind comes from the South
love will kiss thee on the mouth.
When the wind blows from the East
expect the new and set the feast.

Nine woods in the caldron go
burn them fast and burn them slow
Elder be ye Lady's tree
burn it not or cursed ye'll be.

When the wheel begins to turn
soon ye beltane fires will burn
When the Wheel hath turned a Yule
light the log the Horned One rules.

Heed ye flowers, bush and tree
by the Lady blessed be
Where the rippling waters go
Cast a stone the thruth ye'll know

When you have and hold a need
harken not to others greed.
With a fool no season spend
or be counted as his friend.

Merry meet and Merry part
bright the cheeks and warm the heart.
Mind ye threefold law you should,
three times bad and three times good.

When mistfortune is enow,
wear the star above thy brow.
True in love must ye ever be,
lest thy love be false to thee.

These eight words the wiccan rede fulfill;
An harm ye none, do what ye will.
EVER MIND THE RULE OF THREE!

If you know how to cast a spell properly (focus will intent etc) it will work on or how you intended. So if you are focusing on a specific goal or person that is the only end result. If the work is sloppy or scattered you can really mess up. My advice is not to EVER do spells 'on' someone ...unless very serious healing or protection is needed.

I practice.."the craft".
I am a witch, not a Wiccan.
I am a real witch. An Athiest. A satanist.

Be very specific in your spell. Speak of no harm coming to anyone but your intended victom.

Don't worry bout a law of 3. Its NONSENSE.
You should however.....remember as you cast a spell on someone,...most likely you bind them to you in some way.
If you want to avoid them later, state that in your work. But.....don't be surprised if they show up.

I knew someone that had been practicing 15 years. The spell is cast only the ones you name. She also told me she had four cats, no special color. Cats are a happy medium between you and the powers you call upon. Be very careful though she had to get out before it destroyed her life. There are sites you can find through google. Look under pagan religion practices.

well it all depends on the spell like how you wrote the spell or the words you choose to use and how u say it were you specific enough about what you want to happen and was it a harm spell because if u arent very very specific it will come back on u
blessed be

In my own personal experience spells tend to affect only the people you cast them on, though sometimes it can be different.

and by the way most serious practitioners don't believe in 'black' or white' um... 'magick'. Just magic. With a C lol

If you are having spill over, you should step back a bit and work on it for a while. There is no real Black Magic. Black is the absence of color and White is all colors. Magick is all colors and one who is well trained and skilled can see the colors of the spell they work.

If you cast a spell on someone (hopefully the spell will be for something positive like health) that spell will ONLY be for the person that you have specified it for (unless of course, you have specified it to travel from generation to generation).

Have a lovely rest of the evening. Bright Blessings.
