Haven't you seen the commercials saying that some new episodes will be on the air soon.

ER used to be a good show then almost the whole cast left, the series ran on for wayyyyyyyyy too long, it dragged NBC down even deeper in to the hole and eventually faded into an oblivion.

I haven't heard anything about it being cancelled, I think it's supposed to be new this week, if not it's definately coming back. How long it will actually last is anyone's guess, I think they're running out of original ideas.
