She could mate again after only a week, but she can't have babies again for about 4 weeks. Not babies that will live at least. From the time she gets pregnant to the time she has the babies is usually 28 days. It can be a week less or a week more and still be ok.

Yes, a guppy can breed after breeding a week before. I would suggest that you isolate the babies in a separate tank until they grow bigger (which you can then place in the main tank) if you wish to keep them alive (majority of the guppy parents eat their kids). If you want less, then you can keep them in together. You will be able to tell if the guppy is male or female in a few more weeks; males will generally be more colorful and skinnier while females will look a bit bland and fatter.

Welcome the excellent worldwide of livebearers! Guppies, platys and mollies all shop sperm and can supply delivery distinctive cases from a single mating! the conventional gestation era is 21-30 days, provide or take an afternoon or 2. So sure, it sounds like your little lady is going to supply you a tank crammed with toddlers! you are able to pass her to a breeding tank or you may get some vegetation for the fry to cover in and permit her to stay in her commonly used tank. i in my opinion go away all my woman Mollies of their universal tank collectively as they are pregnant and giving delivery. maximum of proceed to exist that I even have had to pass all of them into extra advantageous tanks two times this 300 and sixty 5 days on my own! i began out with 3 Mollies...I now have sixteen adults, 40 juveniles and maximum of fry I cant count extensive type all of them! i'm only shifting women that look picked on after giving delivery (whilst they are the weakest others tend to p.c.. on them) into yet another tank, and a few of my fry that are stunning in coloring (I actually have a Cremesicle that gave delivery to fry with orange bodies and black tails....very marvelous finding, and that i want to confirm they make it to adulthood). in any different case I enable nature to take its direction...or i does not have a tank that wasn't crammed to the rim with Mollies! Its strictly a private decision. Congrats on your new toddlers!

yes, guppies breed continuously.
they can actually store sperm from the last mating, so she doesnt need a male to fall pregnant the second time, but she does for the third.
males have much smaller and thinner bodies and much larger tails and brighter colours than females..

Ras go back to vet school or tell yor mom you need an upgrade on your under 16 yahoo account. Guppies do not store sperm they are fetil eggs inside the mom like turkeys. they hold on to fertile eggs not yet developed. She is still pregnant and will have a few more sets without a male present.

she shouldnt be having any more babies for another month. She can have more babies up to 5 months after you remove the male because they store the sperm.
