Awe, come on! What's a few deaths between friends, even if most of them aren't in the What if category. Jean is a level 5 or cetegory 5 mutant. Almost like Apocolypse, she can be defeated but not truely destroyed unless her atoms are dispersed over a wiede area of the universe. This just isn't going to happen when you bury her remains in one place. Just don't tell Scott the Jeans muliple O's refer to her muliple Obituaries, he's so sensitive.

Actually...Jean has died only once. Well, aside from all those alternate timelines and future stories and such. She's had lots of near deaths, and times when people thought she was dead, and there's the occasional story where all the X-Men die and get brought back right away. The only time she actually died was the last one, when magneto killed her. They joke about it in the books, but I'm not really sure why. Psylocke has actually died more often.

You must be really new to comics. That subject has been rehashed for the last 10 yrs. But shes the phoenix and that's what the phoenix does. Rise from the ashes the real problem is how bad the stories are.

hahaha-yeah i kinda lost count of this at some point.

i remember the last time they killed her a guy at the comics shop said they shoulda offed cyclops instead this time just to mess with peoples heads.

is she alive now ? I haven't read x-men in a while and the last time I checked cyclops was tapping frost .
