ok, my boyfriend and i (who both work at a grocery store)were wondering what more people prefer for their groceries.

I too work at a grocery store, and we have a TON of elderly customers! The majority of the time, the request is plastic, but several times a day you will get that not-so-popular "Double-paper!"

I use to prefer paper but then they pushed plastic on us so much I got use to that but now I heard many cities are banning plastic. What will be will be.

Plastic, because the handles on the paper sacks are not very strong. And, because I use the plastic bags for trash can liners.

Paper, and I reuse them. I get a nickel back for each bag I drag back to the store.
