Has anyone had a hysterectomy due to being iron anemic?

No, but I have talked to other women who have and my suggestion is to get another opinion but from someone who does not share the same office as the dr you currently see. The very first thing to do is to try and find the cause of what could be causing the anemia. Depending on what is causing it the treatment needed may be a better choice than a hysterectomy.
