My baby shower was on april 1st. My step mom had it for me and I gave her the invite address list and 3 days before the shower she told me no one had rsvp yet (not even my own mother!!!) I was so worried no one was going to show up. But I had 16 people show up out of 22 that were invited. So don't worry!!! Everything will be fine. I got everything from my bassinette, bouncy seat, stroller/car seat, jumperoo, walker, swing down to onesies, so if you did a registry anywhere, you can also look it up online to check your list versus what you still need to buy.

Did people not RSVP??? If you are really this worried about it...have your mom and sister call all the invitees that didn't RSVP and confirm their attendance!! This way you'll know ahead of time and won't have to be so distracted!!

(How many show up depends on how close you were with the people you invited. Expect 75% of close friends and family and 25% of your distant family and acquaintances)

I think I remember having this fear before my baby shower. If you are normally a bit insecure add pregnancy hormones and you will get one helluva insecurity problem.

I can't remember how many people came to mine versus how many I invited but I was thrilled to see those that came. I'm sure that plenty of people will show up to yours, and you will have a blast.

Good Luck and have fun.

well if you invited 40 people then at least half should show up.... I only had like 8-10 people at my shower, including the people that threw it for me.... It turned out great! Don't freak out, it is probably just your hormones :) Have fun at the shower!

At my baby shower, I think I had somewhere around 20 people (I had a separate shower at work).

Has anyone RSVP'd? Although, I threw a shower for someone last summer and we got 4 RSVPs but had something like 30 people!

Dont worry about it. There is nothing u can do but wait and see. Perhaps calling a few of the invited guests and confirming will help.
I am sure u will have plenty to show, and have a wonderful shower.
Good luck and congrats.

As long as one person shows up it will be fine. And if your mom and sister-in law are throwing it then at least 2 people will be there. Please try to think positively and enjoy no matter how many people show up.
