I've never felt inferior by anyone of the opposite race, only felt ostracized by stereotypical peers when I was younger. I straighten my hair professional reasons, it has never been dye blonde, red, pink, or anything of that nature. As for Mary J., Beyonce, and Tyra I believe the reason they did was more for their celebrity, to attract more interest, personal style, and/or to appeal to certain demographics. (With their level of achieved status I highly doubt they did it due to any racial complex.)

No I dont feel inferior to anyone. Wearing weaves doesnt make me feel inferior not one bit. It just means I like to experiment with different hairstyles and colours. By the way, I dont wear weaves a lot. I think you have some issues against black women. Perhaps one turned you down (if you are male) or if you a female, your boyfriend must have left you for a black woman.

No, I don't think black women feel inferior as a whole, but they know what men like and naturally want to be attractive to them. All women have to tweak themselves to be attractive, meaning wear make up, lighten or darken their skin tones, get cosmetic surgery, lose weight, tone up, learn to carry themselves better, add or subtract different things, etc. That's how it is.

wow you are an ignorant dumbass yeah? i hope you know that. im black and if you had any brain cells you'd know that because of the white oppression on minority mentality, there is a universal european image of beauty that everyone aspires to reach. in most minority communities, lighter skin is considered "prettier"; women of ALL RACES (NOT JUST BLK YOU DUMBASS) dye their hair blonde; in the far east of asia they have tape for their eyes to make them look more "european" - there is even surgery for this; the infamous nose jobs are sought after by minorities with wider noses and then there are the color contacts which frankly look good on most ppl....white celebrities wear TONS of weave sweetheart - jessica simpson has her own line of hair peices (look it up dumbass). this has nothing to with feeling inferior by any means! its about keeping up with the trends or simply trying out a new style. btw dumbass tyra banks is a model - WHITE OR BLACK YOU ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR VARIOUS HAIRSTYLES FROMM WEEK TO WEEK OF ALLDIFFERENT LENGTHS. ( so are you insinuating that white women feel inferior to minorities because many get lip injections and roast in tanning beds and curl their hair then?) god you're stupid. i must leave before your stupidity lowers my IQ.

women human beings do their hair and alter their eye colour because of the fact it rather is a manner assertion or because of the fact they like it that way. It has no longer something to do with feeling no longer so good as every person. i'm a white American with curly reddish brown hair. I straighten my hair and dye it brighter crimson. Does that propose i've got self belief no longer so good because of the fact the Irish or Scottish? Please. . .every person is human beings, recover from your self.
