It could. Was there any mucous or discharge with the blood? How many weeks are you? More details needed. If it is a lot of blood and you don't feel baby moving-go to L&D immediately!

Yes it could mean that or part of the mucus plug too. If you are unsure the best thing is to call your doctor or midwife and if the blood is bright red you should contact them too. Good luck--Jammie

did you or have you lost your mucas plug? I would call the doc asap if I were you , it could be nothing but I wouldnt take the chance that you could have placental abruption(fatal to both of you) just call ob and see what they want you to do, dont waste anymore time just get on the phone

How late in pregnancy? Are you due in a couple days? Best bet is to check with your doctor.

im a mother of 5 kids that is the starting of ur plug coming out . if u feeling pain in ur back or belly .. i would call the dr. asap.. i think its almost time for ur baby .. good luck

YOur mucus plug could be coming loose. It's a good sign.

It could be from dialating or if you've had intercourse lately... the cervix is often very sensitive during pregnancy.

If you see a lot, call your midwife or doctor. :)

Sounds like bloody show that precedes labor. If your close to your due date you may be preparing for labor
