#1. No one intrested to learn is stupid. There are only three attaching points on a battery.
#1. Positive (red) termanal
#2. Negative (black) termanal.
#3. Attaching bolt (small) on one side of the longest side or another.
Remove the negative terminal first. Positive second.
Use a 1/4 ratchet with a long extent ion to remove the retainingbolt and plastic block. Lift old battery out and slide new one in. Good Luck!

Things can get in the way when you do it, make sure you don't mix up positive and negative because if it is backwards for even a second your cars computer gets fried and that is expensive to replace. Also many times you don't even need to replace the battery, just open the caps on the battery and slowly and carefully add water (yeah just water) to the battery. Don't get any of the acid on you! Car batteries require and mix of water and acid to work, the water evaporates a lot while the battery is still in good condition. But you may still have trouble when starting the car for the first time if the battery has been dead for awhile just find a friend to jump start it for you. It is an easier free process to just make this battery work. Your car battery is good 99% of the time when you decide to replace it.

No, it easy. Just look how the cables are connected and put them back the same. When you buy the new Battery they will give you the size you need. If, you buy at Auto-Zone and can get the car there, they even swap it out for you for free. If, you plan on keeping the car another 5 years, buy, the best battery and keep the post clean and it last 5-7 years with care.
As mentioned above me, here a story. A friend ask if I help him replace his battery and I said yes. I open the hood and could not find the Battery! Dang! WTF! I called my buddy at Auto-Zone and he laughed and say; "You have to remove the front tire on the drivers side and it in the wheel well"! I was still saying WTF! But, we got the battery changed! ;-)

On the surface it's an easy procedure, however, be careful. I was doing mine two days ago and the positive terminal was heavily corroded, so much so that when I began to loosen it the entire post popped out (i.e this is not good). Acid dripped out (dangerous stuff) and I discovered the connection was unusable (i.e. the entire positive battery cable had to be replaced). So, my suggestion is to let Autozone or PepBoys do it. This is a FREE service they provide when you buy from them. Can't go wrong. If something happens during the swap they'll handle it, and they'll also dispose of your old one for you. Best of luck.

installing a car battery can be quite easy... with that said finding it could be hard if it is not right out in the open, like on some models. examples, plymouth breeze located in the left inner fender well, oldsmobile aurora under the rear seat. you get the point. good luck, and by the way your description is pretty accurate of a battery change.

Take a photo or make a diagram of the battery first. Disconnect the floor/earth cord first. Then disconnect the nice and cozy lead, get rid of the carry down strap or bracket and get rid of the battery. deploy the recent battery in the opposite order. there's a extreme threat of sparks and explosion if the nice and cozy lead is disconnected first. at the same time as the floor lead is disconnected first the sparks can no longer take position as you disconnect the nice and cozy lead. After the battery is reinstalled and reconnected, reprogram the clock and the electronics to the perfect settings.
